Somerset author, JUSTIN NEWLAND, will sign copies of his novel THE GENES OF ISIS at WH Smith, 24, Clifton Down Shopping Centre, Whiteladies Road, Bristol BS8 2NN from 10 a.m. on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd May.
THE GENES OF ISIS is an epic fantasy and supernatural thriller set beneath Ancient Egyptian skies. Featuring a young woman’s spiritual journey from maiden to mother and from apprentice to priestess, the novel speculates on the origins of our human genetic.
Justin writes secret histories in which real events and historical personages are guided and motivated by numinous forces - that’s history with a supernatural twist.
He’ll also sign copies of his other historical novels: THE OLD DRAGON’S HEAD and THE CORONATION. His next book, THE ABDICATION is due out in July, 2021.
Justin appears at literary festivals, gives library talks and gives local & BBC radio interviews.
A Doctor of Mathematics, he lives with his partner in plain sight of the Mendip Hills.
